It's very common for performers to go through some sort of stage freight or performance anxiety. For even the most natural performers, a bout of stage freight or period where they experience performance anxiety is normal. Often performers pick up various tricks along the way to help them deal with fear and as long as your coping techniques aren't negatively affecting your performance, you're good.
